Help us get the word out! It's not hard to do, it doesn't have to cost you a cent, and you can never know how many lives you’ve changed (or even saved!) by simply speaking out.

RAINN Over Houston is Color Houston BLUE's first big event, and we are raising funds for The Rape Abuse & Incest National Network (www.RAINN.org). Our primary goal through RAINN Over Houston is to educate. our community. People need to know that rape and abuse are real issues happening right here in our communities every minute of every day.

We are constantly crossing paths with rape and abuse victims. They could be the lady next door, the teenage boy who works at the coffee house down the street, or the quiet kid at school.

People need to know how to reduce their risk of assault, and how to take steps to empower their loved ones to do the same.

People need to know how to identify an abuse victim, and how to safely help them. Victims need to know how to get help, who to talk to, and where to go.

All these vital messages must be delivered loud-and-clear to our communities. RAINN Over Houston is operated by a small group of dedicated volunteers, and we do not have the budget as yet to fund a major TV commercial, magazine ad, or radio campaign. We need YOU!
